The Energy Body

Einstein and later quantum physicists have explained that at an atomic level everything that exists in the universe is energy, vibrating and oscillating at different rates, that physical mater and energy are just two forms of the same thing. So energy is all there is.Some of these energetic vibrations we are familiar with such as sound, light, radio wave and x-ray. These are all parts of the electromagnetic spectrum the only difference is that they oscillate at different frequencies or rate of vibration.

We human beings are also comprised of this electromagnetic energy. Science has finally confirmed that an unseen energy flows through and connects all living things. This energy is commonly known as, ki, chi or prana. It flows through the human energy field on pathways called meridians which route the energy longitudinally through the body. Smaller meridians called nadis criss-cross the body connecting all parts together. Chakra is the Sanskrit for wheel or vortex and these are the energy centres of the body. There are seven major charkas in the body. They are located down the centre of the body from the crown of the head to the base of the spine. The body is surrounded by a field of energy known as the aura. There are four primary layers, physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. Each layer vibrates and oscillates at higher frequencies as you move out from the body, i.e the physical layer has the lowest frequency and the spiritual layer has the highest frequency.

The easiest way to understand this energy body is to equate it to the physical body. The aura is equivalent to the physical body. The charkas to major organs and the meridians and nadis to the veins and arteries.
